Since this is a product wild harvested from the sea, you can expect to see a significant amount of salt on the product itself. You may also see other debris from the ocean such as pieces of shells, sand, and rocks. We try our best to filter these pieces out but it is best to soak the sea moss before use to ensure it is free of debris and not too salty.

You can expect the taste to be very briney, much like the smell of the sea and salty. We recommend adding sea moss to smoothies, salads, or sauces to start but it is safe to consume as is if preferred. Blend with filtered water to make sea moss gel so you can easily add a tablespoon or two to your food or drink or eat as is.
